Welcome to my neck of the woods!

My name is Christian Elf, and besides being the proud owner of the best name in the world, I am also a webdeveloper. My main focus and passion on the web is the development of user interfaces. You could say that I am a webdesigner with a twist and less of the fuzz.

The story begins My story begins in a medium-sized town up north in the medium-sized country of Sweden. Raised among polarbears and arctic winters I honed my skills with the tools of the trade: Html, Javascript and Css.

Aged 22 I set off to university to gain my diploma. After a few wild years, including a tour in the military, a small but fun career as a DJ and assorted tomfoolerys I graduated in the spring of 2009. Now life in the big world could begin.

The saga continues A month after graduation I set off to the biggest town down south: Malmö in the province of Skåne. Here I began, and I'm still, working at a company active in the field of online commerce.

Present day During office hours you'll find me developing the e-commerce- platform for my company, and giving technical support to our customers.

In between this I design and code templates for our customers online stores.

At night when the lights are out you'll find me searching for the lightswitch. In more illuminated situations you'll find me playing the guitar, watching Will Ferrels Old Shool for the fifth time that week or hanging around with my friends.

Moveable? Yes.

Hobbies/interests Hiking, movies, music festivals, travel, music in general, friends, family.

I try to go out on a major hike at least once a year. Preferred travel location for those hikes are the swedish highlands.

Musicwise I'm open for most about everything, but as a general rule most about everything with a good rhythm and a guitarbased sound will rock my boat.

Defining characteristics Eager to learn, easy going, persistent, humoristic.

I strive to always learn something new, and I get a kick out of learning a new trait. I don't quit in the first place. I have no trouble finding my place in a new team, and I tend to lift the spirits in any group.

What drives me? I am passionate about building good usable websites. Aestethics and functionality hand in hand is a thing of beauty.
